The position of National Vice-President of STAR Events has received a title change to become the National Vice-President of Competitive Events starting for the 2010-2011 school year.  The national Board of Directors voted this as an editorial change to the Bylaws at the 2010 January BOD meeting.  If you have any questions, please contact edoane@fcclainc.org.

• National Officer Candidates and advisers must read the entire combined 2010-2011 National Executive Council/Adviser Handbook in order to run for office. 
  
  
• Candidates must complete the 2010 National Officer Candidate Application and mail to national headquarters by postmark date May 15. 
  
  
• The 2010 National Officer Candidate Speech Topic:
  "FCCLA has evolved over the past 65 years, explain how your knowledge and skills of FCCLA will help our organization continue to move forward."
  
  
• The National Officer Candidate Test:  The test will be adminstered at the 2010 National Leadership Conference in Chicago, Illinois prior to the National Officer Candidate Orientation on Saturday, July 3, 2010.
